Families First, Inc - Serving Columbus and Bladen County NC

To identify, address, and attempt to rectify issues related to and associated with domestic violence, sexual assault and their effects on adults, children, and the communities of Columbus and Bladen Counties.

In November 1995, Families First, Inc. began providing services to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault in Columbus County.

In June, 1997, Families First, Inc. opened the doors of its shelter to victims of domestic violence, providing a safe refuge from violence and offering victims the opportunity to escape violent, frequently life threatening, situations and the safe space to explore their options.

The program began serving victims in Bladen County in October 2002 and has operated an office in Elizabethtown since that time.

Our staff and volunteers have dedicated themselves to improving the quality of life for women, men and their children in Columbus and Bladen Counties.

We are a nonprofit agency dependent on the community for support. To make a donation of money, goods or services, please call the Whiteville Office at 910-642-5996 or Elizabethtown Office at 910-862-2534 Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
